Life is a winding road with ups and downs. There will always be challenges that come sneaking upon us, weather is a physical condition, the loss of a loved one, mental struggles and so forth. Life can be outragously unfair, or so it might seem.
Life is Art believes that life is educational, and the experiences that come out of it can inspire others when shared. We know that inspiration can help a person to make significant changes in a life, both mentally and physically – and also that being an inspiration to others can make a difference in your own life. We have learned the importance of art as a communication tool, that we together are able to inspire and encourage each other so that we can transfer inspiration into creative ideas in all forms – and then maybe find the courage to share it.
Inspiration can hit you when you least expect it. Maybe you heard a song that made you feel different afterwards? Maybe you watched a movie that brought you hope? Maybe you met someone who won your heart just by being themselves? Or maybe it was a quote you read, or a novel? Maybe it was something as simple as the formation of a cloud, or the colors of the flowers in your garden?
Wherever you found it, and however it made you feel, inspiration is a beautiful experience. It can save a bad day, and sometimes it can be the start of a wonderful journey you´re about to set out on. It can also be the seed of newborn ideas in your mind, that eventually will grow into visions. And often it is the root of your own creations.
In the process of creating, you have become one with your feelings, your thoughts, your opinions and your creativity. That is a precious moment between the artist and the art. Some feel they cannot breathe without those moments, some comes out of it differently than before. Some find themselves there.
The final art piece is your property – both legally and personally. Remember that it does not matter what those around you think or say about your art, most important thing is how you felt when you created it and how you´re feeling afterwards. Now it is up to you whether you like to share it or not. If you feel that you have accomplished what you were searching, and are happy with that, then salute yourself! The art piece will be a memory and a monument that will stay with you forever.
If your heart desire to share your piece, then we would really like to hear your story, see your photographs, listen to your music or view your sculpture. Sharing art can be a wonderful experience.
You certainly do not have to be a professional artist, or even feel that your creations is anywhere near something called art. Creating artistic pieces does not mean that you have to quit your dayjob, display your photos in a gallery or win an Academy Award. If that is your dream, however, then have faith in yourself and what you do. Remember that what might seem as scribles to you, can be an inspirational experience for someone else. A person can find something in what you share that will blow them away. Maybe they will find strength and courage through you. And then maybe they will write their own story, and their story will then inspire someone else. That is what makes life such a great thing – to be inspired and to create. To make a difference. No experience is a waste if shared.
Life is Art is not an art contest; no one is here to critize your work. We rather ask ourselves if your piece made us think. How did it make us feel? How did it touch us? We encourage you to do the same.
You can join our Facebook-group to share your art with other Life is Art artists.
