Photographs by Gitti Richardson

No. 1 was taken on a foggy day in December 2009 in Nairn which is a small costal town in the Scottish Highlands. I walked along the beach myself and I couldn’t see much. Sometimes a man or a couple came out of the fog at sudden. It was kind of scary but I couldn’t stop walking on and on taking photographs…

No.3 was taken in Zurich /Switzerland in September 2011. There is no big story behind this photograph.  I liked the sunlight on the water of Lake Zurich.

No. 2 was taken near Lucerne / Switzerland in March 2011 when my daughter and I went back to Lucerne from a daytrip to Interlaken in the Swiss Alps by train. My swiss friend Jasmin got everything prepared for us for a wonderful day
in the Alps. It was one of my dreams to see these beautiful mountains called Eiger, Jungfrau and Mönch – but unfortunately we didn’t see a single mountain all day because of bad weather. But on our way back to Lucerne suddenly the clouds disappeared and I started taking photographs through the train-
window. There was nothing I wanted more than jumping out of this train…but I didn’t ;-)
